Chloe Johnson
Owner & Head Trainer

Bringing a wealth of experience and passion to the equestrian world. She began riding at the age of four and has been actively been involved in competitive show circuits since the age of 12, primarily on the Colorado Hunter Jumper Association (CHJA) circuit up until 2018 moving to the Midwest. Over the years, Chloe has earned numerous accolades, including appearances at CHJA Medal Finals and multiple year-end championships.

Chloe is a 2018 graduate of the University of Findlay in Ohio, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science with an emphasis in Hunter/Jumper and a minor in Dressage. While at Findlay, she was a key member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) team, contributing to the university’s four-year winning streak. She also competed on the University’s Dressage Team, serving as team president during her junior and senior year and leading the team to Nationals twice.

Internationally, Chloe earned both her Small and Large Bronze Medals from the prestigious German Riding School in Vechta, Germany. She furthered her experience through internships with Rothmann Sporthorses and the Tranins family, gaining invaluable insight into European training methods.

Chloe has participated in several USHJA Emerging Athletes Program Regional Training Sessions and qualified for the Horsemanship Quiz Challenge National Finals. Her professional background includes work as an assistant trainer and head rider, instructing students from beginner through advanced levels. She has extensive experience riding client horses, conducting training rides, and retraining off-the-track Thoroughbreds through CANTER Michigan. Chloe has also coached IEA teams and served as an IHSA coach for the University of Michigan.

With comprehensive experience in organizing and managing IEA, IHSA, Dressage, and Hunter/Jumper competitions, Chloe has competed successfully across the United States. She has trained with top professionals in the industry, including Olympians and World Cup riders such as Bernie Traurig, Julie Winkel, Nick Karazissis, Peter Wylde, Harriet Bunker, and Peter Lutz.
